You can now see a musculoskeletal physiotherapist practitioner for joint, muscle or soft tissue pain as the first point of contact instead of the GP. This gives you faster access to expert diagnosis, advice and exercises you need to start tackling the problem. The physiotherapist can also refer you on to hospital services and arrange tests where necessary. Please ask reception for more information or for booking an appointment. 

 

 

 

Practice Management

Ms Abi Staveley

Practice Manager Responsible for the smooth running and organisation of the practice. She will be happy to hear your comments - both good and bad and welcomes your suggestions on how services can be improved.

Administration

The Receptionists, Dispensers, Secretary and Administration – all staff are fully trained to provide you with the best possible service. They will often need to ask you further details when you telephone to ensure we assist you as effectively as possible. They are bound by the same rules of confidentiality as the Doctors and Nurses.

Dawn is responsible for much of the financial/accounting and IT systems in the practice.

Ellen is our practice secretary and she is the person to contact if you have any questions about hospital referrals.

Linda is the Social Prescriber and Care Navigator for the Lunesdale, Sedbergh and Bentham Practices'.

Reception

The receptionsts have a wide range of tasks and they are often your first point of contact with the surgery.
