You can now see a musculoskeletal physiotherapist practitioner for joint, muscle or soft tissue pain as the first point of contact instead of the GP. This gives you faster access to expert diagnosis, advice and exercises you need to start tackling the problem. The physiotherapist can also refer you on to hospital services and arrange tests where necessary. Please ask reception for more information or for booking an appointment. 

 

 

 

Some medications are not available on an NHS prescription but may be obtained on a private prescription; a typical example is anti-malarial medication for people travelling abroad. There will be a standard charge of £12 for issuing the private prescription which will be included in the final charge of the item is dispensed by the practice.
